Frequently Asked Questions

What is a bitzy site?

Simply put, a bitzy site is a one-page, scrolling website—a perfect starter website that can grow and expand with you by adding more pages and features in the future.

Is a bitzy site right for me?

If you're looking for a simple solution for an online presence, a bitzy site may be right for you. It's power-packed to house all of your tools in a single location with easy access for everyone; contact information, services, benefits, portfolios, social media, etc.

How much do bitzy sites cost?

Design Costs
I like to think of designing/building a website as similar to designing/building a house. Just like houses, you can build a studio apartment or a 3,000 sf ranch home. On average, bitzy sites can cost between $850-$1800 or more depending on design and function.

Marketing Accounts
Just like houses, websites have utilities that help them function. I like to think of them as your marketing accounts. Again, the costs vary depending the function of your website. As a minimum you can expect to budget $125+/yr for your domain (your web address) and website (web builder).

What is my role in the design process?

Designing for another is an intimate process that requires a lot of trust and team effort. Your input and ideas are integral. You job is to let me know what you like and don't like and ask questions. My job is to provide the best possible recommendations and solutions. Our team effort converts your vision into reality through consistent, timely communication to meet our common goal.

Can I edit my website?

Yes! Bitzy sites are designed using a leading industry online web builder that's packed with tutorials.

How long does it take to design a website?

Once we've agreed on an outline and price for your website, it's good to allow 2-3 weeks for design and implementation.

Who do you work with?

I work with highly motivated people who are interested in working as a team to create their 'marketing outfit'. They've already decided that they don't want to do it themselves and can hand the steering wheel over. They're committed to the project and are ready to work.

How do I know if we're a good fit?

Every designer is different with a variety of skill sets. It's important to address all of your concerns up front and ask all of the questions. As a designer, I strive to be organized and efficient, with clear and timely communications, while looking to the future for your potential needs.
